This is the first stage of the Cocobolo Super Soprano Kitchen string test. Over the next couple of months I’m going to play the same cocobolo super soprano ukulele in the same physical space, but each time change the strings. The tuning will be exactly the same, so the only difference will be the actual strings highlighting how much difference can be heard making these adjustments.
I’m deliberately keeping this as audio, so you can’t see/guess what each set is. At the end of the trial, I’ll reveal all the sets used in this exercise. That said we are going to start with the existing Brown Worth set which came with this model. As many will know I highly recommend these strings when I tested the Cocobolo tenor a while back. It will be interesting to see/hear if we come to the same conclusions with the super soprano.
