I had the opportunity to play a small gig in Osaka and try out the new Shimo electric he named “Wendy” This was a really surreal experience and of course I had no idea what to expect. I also had no idea what amps might be available and on the night plugged into a big Marshall combo. On hitting the first chord for “Can’t hold out” I knew I’d be ok and it was a real blast playing with my friend Brian Cullen and a local drummer who sat it. Its unusual for me to play electric let alone cranked up overdrived electric, but I did really enjoy the experience…
